Founded in 1986 by David Neal
Neal Systems Inc. (NSI) began as a manufacturer’s representative, connecting industries to best-in-class products. Over the years, NSI expanded its reach throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic, including New England, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Maryland, Delaware, West Virginia, Virginia, and Washington, D.C. With warehousing capabilities for commonly used products, NSI built a reputation for rapid product delivery and exceptional service, meeting both routine and emergency customer needs.
Today, NSI is much more than a product provider — we are a comprehensive solutions and service partner for plant and process automation. As a representative company, we offer access to over 20 trusted product lines, combined with services that include equipment and plant maintenance, engineering expertise, custom UL508 panel building, and more. By bridging the gap between top-tier manufacturers and the industries we serve, NSI delivers tailored solutions that maximize performance, efficiency, and reliability.

Acquisitions
- 2008: Hudson Valley Controls (Ken Gunther) sold us his company to better serve the northern New Jersey and NYC Metro industrial customers for engineering solutions involving fluid flow, liquid analytical, and valving solutions.
- 2020: Demcoe (Ed Owens) joined our team to better serve the northern New Jersey and NYC Metro industrial customers for Servomex Gas Analyzers, JM Canty Process Tank visualization solutions, and overall instrumentation solutions (pressure, flow, temperature, and level).
- 2020: ES2 (Peter Hutwelker) joined our team to better serve municipal landfill / water / wastewater customers in Pennsylvania, Maryland, and New York for chlorine dosing, instrumentation solutions, flare control, and overall engineering / service expertise.
- 2021: Magyar / Nutech Controls (Mike and Alice Karpa) joined our team to better serve municipal customers in Pennsylvania / Maryland / Virginia for wireless solutions (GE MDS and Schneider Trio), SCADA solutions (Schneider Electric SCADAPack and ClearSCADA / GeoSCADA), and overall instrumentation measurements (Foxboro instrumentation).
- 2023: Sachs Marketing (Tom Chillinsky) sold the western Pennsylvania representation of Metrix vibration solutions, allowing us to provide industrial and municipal customers in West Virginia and Pennsylvania with accelerometers, velometers, vibration switches, proximity solutions, vibration shakers, and vibration monitoring solutions for pumps / compressors / blowers / turbines / fans.
- 2024: Vanguard Controls (Peter Marcus) joined our team to better serve the NYC Metro area of industrial and commercial customers for gas leak detection, service, and engineering.
- 2026: New England Temperature Solutions (NETS) joined our team to strengthen our ability to serve our customers across the northeast.
